HERTZ Car Rental at Newark Airport

Please remember to collect your baggage from the baggage claim area before you find your rental. Then follow the signs to the Newark Airport AirTrain Station. This is located on the second level (which is one level above the baggage claim area in each terminal).

Depart the AirTrain at Station P3 where you will find the Hertz car central facility.

Note that you do not need any ticket in order to use the AirTrain to get from your terminal to Station P3.

Helpful information when using Hertz Car Rental in Newark

For most of Hertz retail rentals the minimum age of renting without an additional age differential charge, is 25 years old. Hertz offers rentals to people from the age of 20 years, but it will come with an additional charge.

Returning your rented vehicle

Do you wish to return your rental at the same location? Simply follow the signs for Rental Cars Facilities at Newark Airport and follow the signs for the Hertz car rental station.

If you return your vehicle to a different location than the one you had scheduled there will be an additional fee. This also applies if you return your rental more than 12 hours after the date and time previously scheduled. This fee is $10. You can notify Hertz of an extension of your rental by calling +1 800-654-4174.

Hertz car rental at Newark Airport (EWR) is open 24 hours, Monday to Sunday.
