THRIFTY Car Rental at Newark Airport

Thrifty Car Rental is just a short train ride away from the arrivals terminal at Newark Airport, whether it being Terminal A, B or C. Once you exit your gate area, you should follow the overhead signs for the AirTrain. When you have boarded the AirTrain, you have to exit the AirTrain at Station P2. There will be an announcement on the train. Once you are at Station P2, please take the escalator downstairs where you will find the Thrifty counter along with several other car rental company desks.

Helpful information when using Thrifty Car Rental in Newark

For most locations in the United States and Canada, any renter has to be at least 20 years of age. However, in Michigan, New York, and the province of Quebec, the minimum age for driving most vehicles is down to 18 years.

Please be aware that there will be an extra applicable charge for drivers between the ages of 20 to 24.

Returning your rented vehicle

Once your stay has ended and you are ready to board your flight again at Newark Airport, simply follow the signs for rental car return at Newark Airport. Look for the Thrifty signs. After returning your rental, the AirTrain can once again take you back to your departure terminal.
